LAFAYETTE COUNTY – Lafayette County is proud to announce the recipients of its
Launch Lafayette County grant program, with $15,000 being awarded to nine deserving
area businesses in April.
The Launch Lafayette County initiative is a proactive measure aimed at bolstering both
existing and new businesses in Lafayette County. The program is tailored to support
businesses in enhancing their facilities, increasing visibility, improving facades, and
overall elevating their presence within the community.
In a testament to its necessity, this year's grant program attracted over 40 applications,
collectively seeking more than $100,000 in funding. This indicates a strong demand and
a projected investment of over $300,000 towards various improvement projects across
Lafayette County. Through collaborative efforts with the Lafayette County Economic
Development Committee, the Lafayette Development Corporation contributes funds to
drive the Launch Lafayette County Grant Program. Although the program operates
within budget constraints, the allocation of $15,000 in the program's fourth year is
celebrated as a significant achievement. These funds, allocated for exterior
enhancements, interior renovations, signage improvements, and facade upgrades,
remain within Lafayette County, leaving a tangible mark across local communities.
The recipients of the 2024 Launch Lafayette County Grants are: Driftless Tannery –
Argyle, Good Fellas Tavern – Argyle, H&H Acres, LLC – Darlington, JACE, LLC – Shullsburg,
Kingsley Crossing, LLC – Shullsburg, Mi Casita, LLC – Darlington, Northside Seal –
