Workforce Attraction Sessions to be Held:

Talent attraction is a critical part of the regional economic engine, and both public and private
employers struggle to meet their workforce needs. Prosperity Southwest and Green County
Development Corporation / Lafayette Development Corporation is hosting a series of free online
sessions to help address this issue. The sessions will focus on two strategies: Attracting military veterans
leaving active duty, and attracting skilled immigrants for manufacturing and healthcare positions. There
will also be time to learn successful strategies directly from regional employers. The day will benefit
employers who want to be competitive in today’s hiring environment.

The sessions will be held at the following times:

Attracting military veterans with Steve Janke:
August 22nd 1:00-2:30 and September 5th 10:30-Noon

Attracting skilled immigrants for manufacturing and healthcare positions with Mitos Beitong:
August 23rd 1:00-2:30 and September 6th 1:00-2:30
